The Institute for Family Development (formerly Behavioral Sciences Institute) is a private, non-profit agency founded in 1982 to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to the growing problems of child abuse and neglect, juvenile delinquency, and family conflict. Our mission is to improve the lives of children, youth, and families through the development, provision, and dissemination of cost-effective services and supports. Our program models emphasize accessibility, responsiveness, and engaging clients as our partners. Families are served in their own homes and neighborhoods. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
