About Us

The Delta Phi Epsilon Foreign Affairs Council is an independent, member-supported nonprofit public policy forum founded by alumni of the Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Fraternity and Sorority. Our mission is to support the practice and study of foreign affairs and international business by current and future generations of diplomats, officers, scholars, and professionals.

We bring regular foreign policy events to our members and the general public, publish analyses to inform foreign policy decision-making, and support international affairs education through grant and scholarship programs. Through these programs, we work to inform the public on international affairs topics, promote foreign policy rooted in the values and hard-learned lessons of the postwar order, and support students pursuing careers in international service.

Our organization is volunteer-run and funded by member dues and community support. With more than 200 members and counting, our network brings together a diverse mix of people from government, business, and academia united by their commitment to an international system that promotes democratic governance, rule of law, and peaceful relations among nations.
