  • About Us

    The JET Program seeks to enhance internationalization in Japan by promoting mutual understanding between Japan and other nations. The program aims to enhance foreign language education in Japan, and to promote international exchange at the local level through fostering ties between Japanese youth & foreign Youth.

    The JET Program is conducted by local authorities & other organizations of Japan in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts & Telecommunications, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology and the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations.
