Smart on Crime

Smart on Crime in Massachusetts is a coalition of individuals, advocacy groups, non-profits, public officials and community leaders who are dedicated to promoting smart, sensible corrections policies in the Commonwealth.

Faced with record prison overcrowding, dramatically reduced paroling rates, and three-strikes legislation, this group of concerned Massachusetts residents and organizations is dedicated to informing the public about the practices and policies that best protect the public safety and conserve public resources.
