REWI conducts and supports scientific research to better understand the risks renewable energy may pose to wildlife and related natural resources and develops solutions to avoid, minimize, and offset those impacts. Built on a strong partnership of leaders, REWI works collaboratively with the renewable energy industry, conservation and science organizations, and wildlife management agencies to ensure that renewable energy and wildlife both thrive.

REWI’s work is built on innovation, collaboration, and sound science. Through REWI’s unique collaborative structure, we engage with diverse experts to develop innovative approaches and independent results. These results make it possible to understand risk and develop effective solutions for renewable energy expansion and wildlife conservation.
