About the SW ArtsFest
The SW DC Arts Festival 2012 is a nonprofit, volunteer-organized event run by the SW DC Arts Festival Advisory Board, a 503(c) community organization. The southwest waterfront neighborhood of Washington,DC has intermittently hosted the neighborhood arts festival since 1959, with its latest revival in 2011 through the firm resolve of the dedicated members of its advisory board and volunteer neighborhood residents. The purpose of the festival is to highlight the art and culture of the neighborhood of the SW Washington, DC area.
