Cosmetic Surgery Foundation
Research GrantsThe CSF supports the research and education programs of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) and builds relationships that advance the science and safety of cosmetic surgery through innovative, targeted funding and leadership.
Supporting the ideas of promising surgeons, the Cosmetic Surgery Foundation, encourages consistent, innovative and aggressive research in the multidisciplinary specialty of cosmetic surgery. Starting in 2006, the Foundation has awarded over $220,000 in grants to eligible surgeons that wish to impact the science through original research. Using a peer review process, members of the CSF’s Research and Education Committee will review, score and rank the applications based on Significance, Innovation, Methodology/Design/Feasibility, Investigator Qualifications, Research Environment, Relevance, and Ethics. Funding recommendations will be voted on and approved by the CSF Board prior to AACS’ 2017 Annual Scientific Meeting.
