Compassionate Atlanta

Compassionate Atlanta is a community, grassroots driven, non-profit organization governed by an 8 member Board of Directors in Atlanta.  The Compassionate Atlanta Leadership Team (14 members) meets monthly to focus on long and short-term strategies to achieve our goals.

Compassionate Atlanta is the local expression of an international organization, Charter for Compassion International, which has a main goal of changing our local and global conversations to be more compassion focused. Compassionate Atlanta is currently developing a strategy to educate and empower individuals, families, schools, businesses, organizations, neighborhoods, communities, and municipal governments throughout the Greater Atlanta area to act with sustained compassion and compassionate action towards all, prioritizing more inclusive support to and with those most in need of securing a greater sense of well-being.
