About Us
Young Learners School is a collaboration between school districts, Head Start programs, the YMCA, and licensed child care centers that provides a structured pre-kindergarten curriculum to eligible three and four-year-old children who come from communities of greatest need. Young Learners School creates an educational environment that prepares children to enter school on a level comparable to their peers, ready to learn to read and write.
The mission of Young Learners is to provide pre-kindergarten access to eligible children while preparing them to enter kindergarten on a comparable level with their peers through a unique collaborative model between school districts, Head Start, the community, and child care centers.
The vision of Young Learners is a greater community where all children are provided with premiere early childhood education and services.
