  • About Us

Wahatoya Community Initiatives is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring, empowering and strengthening a flourishing, vibrant community in the Wahatoya region. Our emphasis is on education to raise awareness and to encourage action and participation in order to create the web of a rich, interconnected, vibrant local community. We are an incubator and support the development of a thriving local economy, based on locally sourced food, goods and services. We run an educational market farm and serve the community by organizing the local farmer's market, providing a CSA basket program, teach garden workshops and put on Farm to Table events.
