  • About Us

    Citywide Youth Opera provides a performance and educational forum for developing talents of youth, ages 14-21 desiring to perform operatic music. Students interested in this program include students in New York City's public and private schools and are selected through competitive audition. The program develops musical, vocal and performing skills among its students in a co-operative working environment. Repertoire includes but is not limited to music in English, Italian, German, French, Spanish and Russian and performance venues include nursing homes, hospitals, libraries and churches.
