Leichtag Foundation

Four strategic focus areas have been established for the Foundation’s work. They are not listed in any deliberate order. Also included under each strategic focus area are the sub strategies that guide granting and programming in that area, based on the Foundation’s ongoing assessment of needs, opportunities and partners.

In general, the Foundation focuses on programmatic and operational grantmaking as well as advancing the tools for giving in each of these areas. We will consider support for capital projects that specifically advance one or more of our strategic areas only where a capital gift will create transformational change and also directly leverage and inspire significant other funding.
