  • About Us

USLEAP works to support the basic rights of workers in Latin America, especially those who are employed directly or indirectly by U.S. companies. USLEAP is a pioneer in efforts to build cross-border labor solidarity in the age of globalization. USLEAP works closely with trade unions in Central America, Colombia, Mexico, and Ecuador to carry out campaigns and other initiatives in the U.S. to support workers who are fighting for economic justice and dignity. Current campaigns focus on workers in the banana, flower, and apparel (maquiladora) sectors and on violence against workers in Colombia. USLEAP is an independent non-profit organization with offices in Chicago and Guatemala.
