About Us
Studio in a School is a not-for-profit public charity that brings visual art to the New York City public schools, community and childcare centers. It is the oldest and largest of its kind, a recipient of numerous awards and a model for artist and teacher collaborations locally and nationally. Studio serves over 171 public schools and community-based organizations, and employs 90 artists and 19 full-time administrative staff.
