The Civiblog project provides a forum for people working within global civil society to share their experiences, resources and keep connected with family and friends.
The purpose of the Civiblog Project is to create an online (ie Internet-based) space -- a virtual community -- for people presently working with NGOs around the world.
There are two main features of the Civiblog Project:
1. Individual "weblogs" authored by people working within global civil society. Here you will find dozens of daily updated diaries of people working for human rights, development, and humanitarian organizations from all corners of the globe. 2. The Civisphere website is a "one-stop shop" of information useful to NGO workers, including travel advisories, tips and reports on staying safe in zones of conflict, emergency/embassy contact numbers, visa and passport information, and job postings in the global civil society sectors.
