  • About Us

The American Jewish Committee is a leading voice of American Jewry on national and international affairs. Through its extensive governmental and non-governmental contacts in the United States and around the world, a network of international offices and affiliates, and close regular relations with Jewish communities abroad, AJC works to educate about Israel, to combat anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, and to promote human rights and democratic, responsible governance. For a hundred years, AJC has also played an historic role in advancing cooperation among religious and ethnic communities, in combating extremism and protecting the rights of minorities, and in strengthening the fabric and fiber of our civil and social life, both here in the United States and across the globe.
