Founded in 2006, the Foundation partners with other nonprofits and the Government Forest Departments to conserve and protect the last few remaining wildlife and its environment. We work by empowering the populations indigenous to these areas and assist them in conserving their own environment.

No sustainable conservation effort would be complete or successful without such an effort, and no group is more instrumental in sustainable conservation than the residents themselves.

At Touchwood we approach this necessary and crucial relationship through:

  • Livelihood and Eco Development Committees
  • Health, Hygiene and Sanitation.
  • Education and awareness programs.
  • Protection of wildlife and natural resources.
  • Tactical training to field staff.
