About Us
Seametrey's aim is to help rebuild Cambodia economically and most of all morally.
To achieve this aim, we set out two objectives equally important in our eyes:
a/ Foster communication and solidarity between Cambodians inside and outside the country
b/ Return self-esteem to the Cambodian people. The Khmer are very proud of their past but the present is a stigma of which they are ashamed.
The target areas are education and environment. These are urgent issues. We want to bring quality education to Cambodian children. Our nursery school in Phnom Penh is based on the Montessori approach and provides the children with 'cosmic education'raising their awareness about the world and its people, the environment around them and teaching them to care and share.
