CSULB Upward Bound Program

Upward Bound is a federally funded program that provides services to low-income, potentially first generation high school students who are in academic need. Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance. The program provides opportunities for participants to succeed in pre-college performance, with the goal of entering and successfully completing a postsecondary program. The six week summer residential program is centered on a theme that provides each participant the opportunity for academic, personal, and social growth.
