CIET is an international group of epidemiologists and social scientists who bring scientific research methods to local government and community levels. By involving people in evidence gathering and analysis, CIET helps them to participate, in increasingly informed ways, in decisions that affect their lives.

As an academic institute in Mexico and a non-governmental organization in several countries, CIET is everywhere dedicated to building the community voice into planning and governance.
