    The American Friends of Assuta Ashdod Hospital (AFAAH) is dedicated to supporting Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital in its mission to provide world-class healthcare and medical training.

    Assuta Ashdod epitomizes the Israeli spirit of the Startup Nation - delivering technological and medical excellence with a "nothing is impossible" approach. Located in southern Israel, the hospital serves a diverse population currently numbering 500,000 and projected to grow in the coming decade by 20%. Only 16 miles from Gaza, Assuta Ashdod was built with a unique rocket-proof design and is protected from biological and chemical warfare.

    Through philanthropic efforts and community engagement, we aim to enhance patient care, advance medical research and promote innovative healthcare solutions. By fostering strong ties between the hospital and its supporters, we contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical facilities and program that benefit patients both locally and globally.
