The mission of the organization is to:--work for change in the status and treatment of women in society--promote a better understanding of the oppression of women in society--speak out and write on public issues, working within the laws of the US --work for the repeal of laws discriminating against women--safeguard the rights guaranteed to women--instill in women a sense of pride and self worth--compile, research and write books and articles for the better realization of the aforesaid purposes
