The Health Justice Commons (HJC) works at the intersections of disability, gender, racial, climate and economic justice to center and uplift communities most harmed and marginalized by the Medical Industrial Complex (MIC) to lead in revolutionizing healthcare. We provide health justice training, engage in movement building, and incubate community-led alternatives aimed at disrupting and transforming the MIC while alleviating the health burdens of social injustice, environmental racism, and the legacies of intergenerational trauma driven by settler-colonialism, ableism, and capitalism.
