About Us

Mission:

Our mission is to empower early stage entrepreneurs in the developing world with innovative, scalable business ideas by providing them with a rigorous Christ-centered business education, world-class consulting and mentoring services and access to seed capital. Through these means, we strive to create Kingdom business leaders, sustainable employment and an improved quality of life for many that we may glorify God in service of His people.

Theory of Change:

Our theory of change is based upon three premises: (1) we believe the most effective way to fight corruption and injustice is through the transforming love of Jesus Christ, (2) we believe the church should seek to develop Christian business leaders that can transform the business culture and society around them, and (3) we believe one of the most effective ways to alleviate poverty is through entrepreneurship and job creation activities. Thus, Sinapis seeks to support entrepreneurs with innovative, scalable business ideas by both providing the business training and financing to help them succeed and exposing them to Christ-centered business principles to help them develop the spiritual strength to triumph over ethical challenges. Once these entrepreneurs become successful, they will create sustainable jobs and help alleviate poverty while also gaining societal influence. They can then transform the business culture and society around them and inspire more young entrepreneurs to do the same.
