    Founded in 2005, the Invest in Knowledge Initiative (IKI) is a nonprofit company aimed at increasing the quality of research conducted in Malawi, Africa; with overarching goals to build local expertise in the areas of social, demography and economic research through knowledge sharing, and to bring resources and information to Malawi that will aid students and educators interested in academic research. IKI is be a social science data collection and management organization that strives to increase the quality of data being collected. IKI also builds and manages rural resource centers and libraries in Malawi.
