    BSSJ is committed to providing a rigorous college curriculum that empowers students to succeed in future academic and professional endeavors Furthermore, we are committed to preparing students to take an informed and active role in the social, cultural, and political life of their communities and their world. Through a curriculum that is grounded in the humanities and sciences, and that is informed by a commitment to social justice, students are provided with a comprehensive academic education and opportunities to see the relevance of that education to their own lives as citizens in a democracy.
