About Us

Centro San Bonifacio's mission is to promote personal and collective self-development within the immigrant Hispanic community through concrete projects based on real needs related to health, education, solidarity and human rights. As an egalitarian organizational model and as members of the very community we serve, we integrate a collective decision-making process with a commitment to mutual responsibility. Centro San Bonifacio is managed and directed by, and our programs serve and are implemented by recently immigrated Latino residents of the local area. Centro San Bonifacio is dedicated to improving the quality of life for Latino families through community organizing and leadership development, and using methodologies and approaches commonly employed in Latin America. These include popular education, small grassroots projects, and peer-to-peer education.
