International Organization for Haitian Development

Haiti's successful reconstruction can only be achieved by simultaneously addressing the components that make sustainable development possible. Since its inception, the International Organization for Haitian Development (IOHD) has focused on helping students obtain a quality education abroad with the goal of returning to Haiti after graduation to apply what they learned or teach in their area of expertise. Providing higher education for Haitian nationals is IOHD's main goal, yet we understand that development is not possible unless the necessary economical, technological and infrastructural foundations are in place. Through our comprehensive plan to deliver lasting results, the organization is also focusing on the improvement and development of the economy, infrastructure and technology. Together these initiatives will help to create a new Haiti ripe with possibilities.
