Global March Against Child labour
Mission - The Global March Against Child Labour (GMACL) is a movement to mobilise worldwide efforts to protect and promote the rights of all children, especially the right to receive a free, meaningful education and to be free from economic exploitation and from performing any work that is likely to be harmful to the child's physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development.
The GMACL believes that the voice and leadership of former and existing child labourers and youth advocates must be included in the struggle against child labour and this participation will demonstrate the power that children can have in shaping the future of our world.
The GMACL commits to compel widespread government action to implement ILO Conventions 182 and 138 within the ongoing poverty alleviation framework.

The GMACL is driven to bring together policy and action for a unified response to a triangular paradigm of development addressing child labour, poverty, and lack of basic education that affect the lives of children within the ongoing efforts of the Millennium.
GMACL Wok and Structure The Global March is a grssroot popular movement build on solidarity and constructive and coherent collaboration betweel civil society , trade union , and teacher organisation. GMACL International Secretariat is in New Delhi and all the communication , coordination and India projects are managed by the team.
GMACL focuses on the knowledge management , adovocacy and campaigns as a primary mechanisms to highlight the impartnace of eliminating child labour as one of the central pillars of human development
