PA Charter School Foundation
The Pennsylvania Charter School Foundation was established as a result of the school support division of the PA Coalition of Charter Schools. The main aspect of the Foundation is to provide training, support, and guidance to existing and future charter schools in order to increase the capacity of charter schools and student achievement. In order to achieve this, the Foundation is developing the Pennsylvania Center for Charter School Enhancement (PCCSE) to serve as the core of this initiative. During the development phase of the Center, the Foundation will work to identify specific needs of Pennsylvania charter schools through a needs assessment, develop partnerships that lead to strategic alliances between charter schools and organizations, create web-based e-learning opportunities for educators, and integrate a support and training system for schools to implement value-added assessment models to measure and guide student instruction.
