  • About Us

The John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton's mission is to inspire and enable young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens. The Club, incorporated in 1954 (though in existence decades before), strives to help our members, ages 6-18, develop self-esteem, educational and social competencies, a sense of wellbeing with a moral compass or code of values by which they may live—all facilitated through the Club’s caring professional adult staff providing guidance and activities that meet the unique interests/needs of elementary, middle, and high school youth. The John M. Barry Boys & Girls Club of Newton is a nonprofit 501(C) organization.
