About Us

Greenpeace Seattle is organizing concerned citizens to ensure the protection of unique and essential underground habitats in the Bering Sea. Known as the Bering Sea Canyons, or the Grand Canyons of the Sea, these vital areas support the ecosystem of the United States' most productive fisheries. Deep sea trawling and overfishing are threatening the health and sustainability of the Bering Sea. To learn more, please visit beringseacanyons.org.
