After School Academy - Monterey, CA

{{{The After School Academy is a California content-standard aligned, experiential (hands-on) learning programs that provide life and academic skill development in a fun, engaging environment offered by Montery Peninsula School District.

The Academy Program model is based on the principles of multiple intelligence (Gardner) that everyone is gifted, just in different ways. Each Academy module (After School) or class (Summer School) has a different theme to support the inherent giftedness of the students—Art, Technology, Science, Creative Writing, etc.

Students are referred by their teacher or principal for participation, enrollment is then determined by available space in small groups of 20:1 (20 students per 1 adult). }}}
