About Us

Andhra Pradesh Sarvodaya Mandal is a Gandhian Organization at the State level. It has District Units called, District Sarvoday Mandals and also City and Town Sarvodaya Mandals. In addition, there are several 'Ashrams', like communities established during the freedom struggle led by Mahatma Gandhi. It is part of the National network of Gandhian Organizations, Sarva Seva Sangh which is the apex body in the country. Our work is in the areas of Peace & Nonviolence and working for a just society free from exploitation. 'Sarvodaya' means welfare of all, and the word was used by Mahatma Gandhi in 1904. Sarvodaya Movement is Gandhian movemnt.

We have a network of NGOs working with 'Gram Swaraj' concept of development - Self Reliant Villages.

We work with educational institutions - Universities, Colleges and High Schools to propagate the message of Peace and Nonviolence.

Andhra Pradesh Sarvodaya Mandal is a formal NGO and is Registered as a Society having a democratically elected Management. We have a finance system including audit practice as per law in India.
