    The James Ford Bell Foundation is a private grantmaking organization. A high priority is given to projects with historical connections to the Bell Family, including the James Ford Bell Library, the James Ford Bell Museum of Natural History, the Delta Waterfowl Foundation, The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Belwin and related programs. The Trustees also consider requests in the following areas: The Environment- programs addressing environmental preservation and education; The Arts- programs of historic interest to the Foundation which strengthen arts organizations in the Twin Cities and metropolitan area; Social Services-programs addressing social service need in the Twin Cities and metropolitan area; and Education.
