About Us

One Day's Wages is is a new grassroots movement of people, stories, and actions to alleviate extreme global poverty.

We hope to inspire people around the world to donate their one day's wages, and then to renew that pledge monthly, quarterly or yearly–or to start campaigns with a cause by donating their birthday, one day of work, or numerous other ideas--to the cause of alleviating extreme global poverty.

ODW's strategy is collaboration and partnership. We don't need or want to reinvent the wheel but rather partner and with and fund particularly smaller, grassroots non-government organizations (NGO) and community based organizations (CBO) that share similar values and mission to end extreme global poverty. Our partnerships involve projects for clean water, healthcare, education, agriculture and economic development, human trafficking, women's empowerment and disaster relief.
