  • About Us

The Children's Room is the leading independent, non-profit organization in Massachusetts dedicated to creating safe, supportive communities so that no child, teen, or family has to grieve alone.

Our services include peer support groups offered at our Arlington center (for families with children ages 3-18) and in schools and community centers, programs for teens, educational series for parents, monthly arts-based family nights, and private consultations. TCR is also a well-respected site for professional training, offering workshops on-site and in schools, hospitals, medical and community centers, and more. We provide information and referrals to over 700 individuals each year, free of charge, as well as resources and support immediately following a death.
