The Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership at Georgetown University is a leading education, research and training center dedicated to the development of public, nonprofit and philanthropic leadership. Established in 1997 as the Center for the Study of Voluntary Organizations and Service, the Center has been recognized for pioneering research and academic programs in the field of nonprofit studies.
CPNL provides advanced education in public policy, public and nonprofit management, advocacy and philanthropy, with domestic and international applications. Our multi-sectoral approach, public policy orientation, and research focus on effective practices, ensure the breadth and relevance of the educational experiences we offer.

The Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership is currently accepting applications for its Summer 2014 Nonprofit Management Certificate Program. The application deadline is January 28th, 2014.
Created ten years ago and with over 950 alumni nationally and internationally, the Nonprofit Management Executive Program is designed to strengthen the leadership and management capacity of nonprofit practitioners. The program gives participants the skills necessary to respond to the the complex challenges and opportunities of nonprofit organizations. Designed as an experiential leadership lab, this program provides a stimulating and supportive climate for exploring the pressing issues that current and future nonprofit leaders face.

The Certificate program is intended for mid-to-senior level staff of nonprofits and NGOs, board members, government and foundation grantmakers, career transitioners, and others working with nonprofit and philanthropic organizations.
