Steeltown Entertainment Project

Steeltown Entertainment Project (Steeltown) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit whose mission is to build a vibrant and sustainable entertainment industry in Southwestern Pennsylvania and help Pittsburgh lead the way in the digital age. Steeltown does this strategically through a series of programs and activities that connect some of film & television's top professionals to the rich regional resources of Pittsburgh.

Steeltown: Inspires a new generation through its Youth & Media Programs which prepares students for their future in the digital world; Identifies talent and projects through the Steeltown FILM FACTORY; Incubates talent and projects through collaborations such as the Pittsburgh Media Incubator; and Invests in co-productions with Hollywood partners, which creates jobs and returns residuals to help make this progress sustainable.
