LDI Africa builds the capacity of African corporations, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations to compete in the global marketplace through the service of skilled volunteers. By creating pro bono consulting opportunities for skilled professionals in Africa and the US, LDI Africa fellowship programs strengthen an entrepreneurial eco-system that positions African emerging businesses on the path of sustainable growth and scale.

Headquartered in Washington D.C and working all across Africa, LDI Africa deploys the talents of young African diaspora and professionals from all over the world to nonprofits and businesses that are struggling to attract skilled professionals. Unlike other programs, LDI Africa provides aspiring professionals around the world with the desired platform to deploy their unique skills and overseas experience to help turnaround businesses, schools, profit and nonprofit organizations in Africa. It also provides through its Africa-US program the unique opportunity for Fellows to be placed at premier US businesses or social enterprises, provided funding, mentorship and the platform to export their products and services to the US after the fellowship.

We are committed to expanding Africa’s possibilities by connecting Africa’s businesses and nonprofit organizations to top-notch skilled labor and to the global market. This would in turn culminate in the sustainable development of the African countries we operate in and subsequently spread to the rest of the continent.
