  • About Us

The brave foundation was initiated in April 2004, by survivors of Serious Physical Trauma. We began with the writing of the brave Manual for integrated Recovery, a small peer to peer Recovery Outreach and a strong will to teach people from all walks of life that are in Recovery from Serious Physical Trauma, a daily Recovery Regime and essential set of skills – ‘how to be brave’. Our regime includes breathing practices for Recovery, remedial yoga therapy, relaxation, Yoga Nidra, meditation & pain management, Postural alignment, Homeopathy, Nutrition, Ayurveda and mobility. Ten years on, we have taken over 1500 people through Recovery on a donation basis, and on to lives of unlimited possibility. Brave has rehabilitation programmes in Cape Town and the informal settlement of Nyanga. see face book group - brave recovery warriors
