Urban Ministries of Wake County Open Door Clinic

The Open Door Clinic addresses health care for uninsured and indigent people by providing comprehensive medical, pharmacy, and ancillary care at no charge to patients.

Our Mission Recognizing health care as a right and not a privilege, and recognizing that many members of our community go without vital health care services, the mission of the Open Door Clinic is to:

provide high-quality health care services and education to people in Wake County who lack adequate income, insurance coverage, or other means to obtain those services; provide services freely, without obligation on the part of those who receive them; respect the dignity and privacy of each person served; educate the community about the problem of lack of access to health care services; and advocate for people without access to care at every opportunity.
