Human Rights Watch - International Justice Program

About Us

Human Rights Watch is an international human rights monitoring and advocacy organization known for its in-depth investigations, its incisive and timely reporting, its innovative and high-profile advocacy campaigns, and its success in changing the human rights-related policies of influential governments and international institutions.

HRW's International Justice Program works to promote justice and accountability for genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity by monitoring the work of the International Criminal Court, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, and the Special Court for Sierra Leone. We also follow efforts toward accountability for serious crimes in countries such as Uganda, Sudan, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
