    The Center for Transnational Environmental Accountability is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting communities impacted by international investments by working with its partner environmental and human organizations and public interest lawyers. It has worked with its partners to use information disclosure laws, environmental and mining laws and regulations, international human rights laws, and climate and biodiversity policies to pursue investors and governmental accountability. CTEA has established a China Legal Fellows Project to develop the legal advocacy capacity for young public interest lawyers in Africa and Latin America to use Chinese laws and policies. It is establishing a Critical Minerals Accountability Alliance of NGOs working in mining, energy transition, and climate areas in the Global South.
