  • About Us

The WildCat Conservation Legal Aid Society is solely devoted to ending the commercial exploitation of all wildcats. WCCLAS provides legal and educational resources, including publication of a legal journal focusing on legal and policy issues impacting wild and exotic cats, and production of a bi-weekly podcast that reaches a global audience with important conservation and advocacy updates. WCCLAS engages in public policy reform by interfacing with federal agencies and NGOs, particularly at the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) meetings that take place every three years to determine key changes to the international treaty that forms the basis of the federal Endangered Species Act.
