    The Miss Black Massachusetts Scholarship Pageant provides an opportunity for African American women to showcase their talents, intellect, creativity and inner/outer beauty. The first place winner of the pageant, in addition to prizes, will receive a scholarship, media exposure and go on to compete in a national scholarship pageant in 2010 where she will represent Massachusetts among the "Who's Who" of young women of color across America.
