  • About Us

Ven, Habla Conmigo! is a developmental research center affiliated with the Center for Infant Studies at Stanford University. Our mission is to conduct basic research on the origins of communication and language with populations currently underrepresented in psychological research, such as Latinos, African-Americans and other groups from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Findings from such research not only contribute to a greater understanding of language development in typically developing children, but may also have clinical implications valuable to researchers working with children with language disorders. We also provide economically disadvantaged children and their families with information about where to find and how to access resources available in their communities.
