  • About Us

The Greater Bridgeport Adolescent Pregnancy Program (GBAPP) was created in 1980 as a public/private partnership to address the problem of adolescent pregnancy in the greater Bridgeport area. In 1992, our mission was expanded to include issues related to the prevention and early intervention of HIV/AIDS among youth, women and children.

Over the last decade, GBAPP has played a major role in community-based program planning, facilitation, coordination, implementation and provision of services.

GBAPP works to establish a vital network of people and organizations to address the complex problem of teen pregnancy and HIV prevention by identifying needs and developing strategies and policies to effect change through established or newly created systems.
