  • About Us

Highview Middle School serves 6th-8th grade students in the town of New Brighton, MN, just a few minutes north of Minneapolis. In an effort with the Minnesota Alliance with Youth and AmeriCorps, Highview is launching a new after-school program in an effort to reduce the achievement and civic engagement gaps experienced by its students. Service + Tutoring Equals Pride (STEP) will provide academic tutoring and service learning projects to at-risk 6th-8th graders in order to foster academic and individual development, self-worth, and self-confidence, encouraging students to advocate for themselves, their own educations, and their own neighborhoods.
