Newport News Police Foundation

The Newport News Police Foundation's mission is to improve and secure the quality of life, public safety and environment of the citizens of the city, its businesses and institutions, and its visitors; recognizing that the Newport News Police Department is a key and critical force in successfully accomplishing those objectives. The Foundation will raise, manage, invest and distribute financial resources by funding, assisting or undertaking programs and activities designed to support, enhance and strengthen the services, organization, performance, competence, and professionalism of the NNPD, its officers and members. The Foundation's primary focus will support worthwhile professional development, training, equipment, wellness and morale, and public relations activities connected with the police department and its staff.
